my first 2 minutes with spotify
a REALLY deep catalog of interesting classical and jazz. At $10/mo it's a no-brainer. However, typical of most music service software, it's made for people who listen to tracks and not "works" or albums. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to play Beethoven's 5th piano concerto and this is a limitation of most music software, especially iTunes. A quick search for Rubinstein's version of the Emperor returns the tracks sorted by popularity. Playing from this point would get you the concerto all out of order. You need to visit the "album" page and then go ahead and play the tracks in the right order.
Seems like a small deal and if you don't listen to a lot of classical works it may not be a big deal but imagine if you're listening to some Grateful Dead and it keeps getting China->Rider out of order. Lame, right? Same thing with classical works.
