Two recently acquired lifehacks
Hot coffee:
We have two-zone heat (upstairs and downstairs). At night, the downstairs drops to about 58F. By the time I get up, it’s warm downstairs but the cabinet where my coffee mugs are is still cold. The first thing I do is make coffee. Even before I get the kids their drinks or whatever it is they’re screeching for. I look at coffee the same putting on an oxygen mask in plane–do yourself first, then the kids.
